Team
Integration of expertise from multiple backgrounds is necessary to deliver services according to our vision
This is reflected in the backgrounds of our team members: psychology, business administration, visual design, information sciences and computing science. What binds us is a passion for people, technology and business, but in particular the interaction between these three.
Tjeerd de Boer
The interaction between people and technology is the essence of our profession. As regard to his studies, people were first, Tjeerd studied psychology at the Leiden University and the Free University in Amsterdam. After completing this study, it was time to gather more technical knowledge. This was done in Eindhoven with the study user-system interaction.
After collecting the knowledge, it was time to go to work. Tjeerd developed a passion for the Internet over the years, so the choice to work for Razorfish Amsterdam was an obvious one. After a turbulent and educational period the company, like any good internet company in 2001, ended.
Having become wiser on the workings of the Internet world, Tjeerd decided to start his own company: User Intelligence was born, the rest is history. He is responsible for the day-to-day management. Besides managing the company, he is still involved in various projects. Concentrating on evaluation, user research and strategy.
Since 2000 Tjeerd is the treasurer of Chi Nederland (formally SIGCHI.nl). He also took the initiative for the ‘Web and Beyond' conference in 2006. In his free time (if he can find any) he likes to row and do other sports.
