User Intelligence was founded in 2002 by Tjeerd de Boer. Currently, the company has twelve employees and a fairly large number of customers. These are some of the milestones in the history of User Intelligence:

• Januari 2002 - User Intelligence founded: One usability specialist and a couple of freelancers work on the design and evaluation of interactive products.


• 2003/2004 - Focus on evaluation services, with an own usability lab and the addition of web analytics to the set of services.


• 2005/2006 - The market asks for more Interaction Design services.


• 2006 - User Intelligence becomes a partner of the UXalliance.


• 2007 - Web strategy added as a service.


• 2008 - Expanding evaluation services abroad.
