Why a Web Traffic Map?

It is often a challenge to help a client understand the importance of Web Analytics findings and the importance of investing resources in this area.

The Web Traffic Map was created primarily as a communications tool. We were looking for a way to illustrate the main findings of our Web Analysis to a client in a quick and easily understandable way. This Web Traffic Map not only highlights these high level findings but also the main points for improvement of their web analysis implementation.

It is a simple, useful one-page deliverable when communicating and exposing the problem areas of a website.
