Our Senior Web Analyst, Adam Cox has recently completed the Award of Achievement in Web Analytics with an A+ average (92%). The course is the only one of its kind that's officially recognized and endorsed by the Web Analytics Association (WAA). The University of British Columbia (UBC), the largest and most highly rated university in Canada is the first educational institution to collaborate with the WAA to jointly create industry leading career development education programs. The WAA Education committee members provide the direction and content for the courses, while UBC provides the infrastructure.

The course, delivered 100% online, consisted of four topics:
- Introduction to Web Analytics
- Web Analytics for Site Optimization
- Measuring Marketing Campaigns Online
- Creating and Managing the Analytical Business Culture.
Adam pursued this course to extend his knowledge in the field. He was particularly pleased with the length and depth of the topics and valued the input from leading Web Analytics professionals. “The quality of contributory instructors is second to none, the list contains many Web Analytics gurus such as Avinash Kaushik , Jim Sterne , Brian Clifton and Jim Novo , to name but a few. Not to mention; the support and experiences from fellow students around the world proved to be very valuable” Cox adds.
Adam is especially proud of this achievement. Not only did he receive an excellent grade, but he is now one of the few consultants in Europe to have pursued this course. It took four months to complete, including many evenings and weekends, but the effort was worth it, “since pursuing this course, I’ve been able to draw on extensive domain knowledge and support to offer even better web analytics services for our clients. It is always rewarding to be able to put theory into practise, especially when many of the common web analytics challenges are shared by fellow practitioners. ”
