Martijn studied Design for Interaction at Delft University of Technology, where he became fascinated by the way people and technology interact. He is familiar with a wide range of research methods to gain a true understanding of user needs.
After his studies he started as a design researcher at the Erasmus Medical Centre to improve the patient safety in hospitals. At the agency MetrixLab he gained in depth knowledge about user research in the digital field. He believes a strong synergy between research and design delivers magical user experiences.
At User Intelligence, Martijn takes care that user research is relevant throughout the design proces. Besides that, his interests are strategic user experience and service design.
