Marjut Mutanen

Marjut joined User Intelligence in August 2011 as a Senior User Researcher.

Sociologist at heart, Marjut found her calling on usability from early on. Maybe it was because of her particular nature that the nuances of interfaces caught her eye and made her want to improve them, or maybe it was one too many times she saw the cashier trying to use the renewed register without succeeding.

Having worked with multitude of users struggling with different web and mobile environments, Marjut has become familiar with all aspects of user experience and the research methods you need to gain knowledge about the users. Before User Intelligence she has worked as Usability Manager, Senior UX Consultant, Usability Specialist and so on in many companies and also in public sector.

When not working, Marjut might be blogging or writing reviews on a Finnish rock magazine.
