Joris Ketelaar
Joris studied Interaction Design at the Utrecht school of arts. During his studies he did an internship at Philips Design and took courses in Cognitive Psychology at the Radboud University Nijmegen.
After successfully completing his master in Interactive MultiMedia, Joris worked as a freelancer. After two years his passion to work with people brought him to southern Africa where he taught ICT at the university of KwaZulu-Natal.
When he returned to the Netherlands, Joris continued teaching at the Informatics and Communication Academy of the HAN University in Arnhem. Here he helped set-up a course in Interaction Design and Ubiquitous Computing.
After a challenging period in the field of education, Joris decided to get his hands dirty again and joined User Intelligence in 2007. His field of expertise at UI is User Experience Design. So far, he has been working on projects for Rabobank, Nyenrode, Reed Elsevier and TribalDDB.
After work he tries to do sports on the soccer pitch or run along the canals of Utrecht.
