Heikki got bitten by the usability bug in 2000. A student of Software Engineering at the time, he realised that no matter how ingenious the technical solution, it would all go to waste if not presented in an intuitive way to the user.
For the rest of his studies, and in professional life after getting his M.Sc. in 2003, Heikki focused on the end user's vantage point. His path has gone from usability testing to interaction design to concept design - and back again.
In 2004, Heikki started working at Tieto Digital Innovations in Helsinki, and for the first time in his career he found himself in a team that truly put the user first. He got to work with some of the digital service industry's finest, including the future dynamic duo of User Intelligence Helsinki, Janne and Vellu.
Heikki moved to Amsterdam in 2007, working for Tieto in Amersfoort. In 2009, he joined User Intelligence, where everybody is passionate about empowering the User.
Back in Helsinki now, Heikki loves the interesting design projects at User Intelligence, and is a firm believer in quick prototyping.
