David Karemaker
Before he joined User Intelligence, David studied video design at the art academy in the Hague and Information Science at the University of Amsterdam.
In between his studies he worked at companies like Pulse Interactive and TV3000 for five years. During this time he worked for clients such as Philips, AEX Exchange, Vecai, TPG Post and MCI WorldCom. David has a broad experience in interaction design, information architecture and project management. His passion lies in mapping out the problems and arriving at a clear view of the solution together with the stakeholders.
David has worked at User Intelligence since 2006 as an Information Architect and Interaction Designer. He has worked for clients such as the SVB, Heineken, Elsevier Science, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Nyenrode. Tasks range from the design of specialized search engines to organizing Stakeholder Workshops.
Besides his work at User Intelligence David is member of the board at Bellissima, an organization that makes television programs and new media productions regarding developments in society, art and media with a focus on Amsterdam. He had a poster presentation about the different roles of information architects on the IA summit 2008 in Miami.
